ABOUT ESTHER
It's possible for a child to have Arthritis. It's called Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis.
When I was a toddler, my sister Ruthie would carry me from my bed to the couch
every morning where I would watch Captain Kangaroo until I could walk.
At 10 years old, I won the contest to design the town seal for my little hometown. I
should also mention that I was the only entry.
Tom, my husband won't kill bugs inside our house. He catches them in the official
"bug jar" and puts them outside.
When Tom and I met, he was wearing a turquoise and silver cactus necklace and
I was wearing a really puffy down jacket.
My Mom is Finnish and her grandfather and uncle were lighthouse keepers at
Bengtskar lighthouse in Finland. Jesus Christ was their Savior and Lord.
Our daughter Larissa graduated from the same art school I graduated from. She
is an all around artist and very funny. She loves animals.
Our daughter Leah sings in church using her beautiful voice. She and her
husband Jonathan (who can fix anything) had little Nathan, born April 8, 2010.
Our daughter Michelle is in school in Chicago getting excellent grades and trying
to get used to the wind and the cold.
I like being a visual artist, but one day I want to work at the Muppet Studio, design
theatrical sets, direct and star in a theatrical production, travel the country on a
bike, write amazing songs, tour with Phil Keaggy, and give myself to a cause
bigger than life to change the world. I'd better get busy.
